What you need to know about kegs
Kegs are containers made of stainless steel, which are used for storage, transportation and bottling of beer and other drinks. More than others are being used barrels with volume of 30 and 50 litres.
In Europe more spread are kegs’ standards DIN and EURO, which differs from each other by form. With the same volume kegs DIN are higher, and, respectively, more narrow.
Quite popular are kegs Plus and Finn. “Plus” surface is covered with porous polyurethane, which keeps well temperature, and therefore beer in this barrel lasts cold longer. “Fins” differs from other kegs by its’ supports rings which are made of shock-resistant plastic instead steel. This makes kegs easier and more comfortable to carry.
For fitting and pouring beer from kegs are being used 6 main types of fittings: A, G, S, D, M, U. You can also buy fittings at affordable prices from us.
